TAMPA, Fla. – March 30, 2016 – The National Diversity Council recently named Syniverse Chief Marketing Officer Mary Clark to its 2016 list of “50 Most Powerful Women in Technology” for her professional achievements that encourage women to pursue their passion in business.

Each year, the National Diversity Council recognizes its list of the 50 most prominent leaders in technology that have reached the top of their professions, are effective leaders in their organizations, and inspire others to succeed while contributing to business growth. As a female executive, Mary encourages women to achieve success by having the mindset of a business owner and drive to affect change.

“Being a marketer while maintaining the mindset of a business owner is a differentiator that helps to build credibility. The key to success lies in the execution of bringing teams together to achieve and overcome obstacles that, at times, require a sheer force of will,” said Clark. “It’s an honor to be recognized by the National Diversity Council and included among such an impressive group of women leaders.”

In a career spanning more than 20 years in mobile, Mary has helped to shape the future of the mobile industry, working with service providers and enterprises to successfully adapt to ever-present market challenges. She holds leadership positions on industry association boards and regularly presents at key events for organizations including the CCA, CTIA and GSMA.

This recognition builds on Mary’s role in advancing the mobile industry, including being named to the following: “Mobile Women to Watch in 2016” by Mobile Marketer; “Women to Watch in 2015” by FierceWireless; “50 CMOs to Watch” by Global Telecoms Business; and “Most Innovative CMOs in the World” by Hot Topics.
